ITE IMSA Annual Conference and Exhibition

ITE Washington and IMSA are excited to announce our upcoming annual joint conference on February 8 and 9, 2021. This year the event will be online over two half-day afternoons on Monday and Tuesday, noon to 5:00 PM.

There will be 24 vendor sessions eligible for IMSA TARP points

The ITE Washington Section and the IMSA Northwest Section invites members to present at the 2023 ITE/IMSA Annual Conference and Exhibit.  The ITE/IMSA Annual Conference and Exhibit is one of the premier events in Washington State for transportation engineers, planners, and operations and maintenance personnel.  

Location/Date

The in-person conference will be held at the Hilton Bellevue on February 7th, 2023. 

Technical Program/Presentation Format, Topics and Length

The technical program will consist of four (4) 55-minute technical sessions, two in the morning and two in the afternoon.  Presentations should be about 15 to 20 minutes long and topics should have a transportation engineering, planning, traffic safety and/or operations theme and demonstrate how the information presented can be utilized by conference attendees.   Presenters can share project experience, lessons learned, innovative solutions, pilot programs, testing of new ideas or technologies, state of art practice and/or collaboration with others. 

Submittal Procedure

Please download and fill out  Submission form and submit the form to Lawrence Guan, ITE/IMSA Annual Meeting Committee Chair, at lawrence.guan@wsp.com.  Please include “2023 ITE/IMSA Conference Presentation Abstract” in the subject line of the email.

Deadline

Deadline to submit abstracts for presentation is Friday, December 3rd, 2022.

ITE Washington and IMSA Annual Joint Conference

ITE Washington and IMSA are excited to announce our upcoming annual joint conference on February 8, 2022. It will be an in-person conference at the Hilton Bellevue to accommodate more vendors and larger participation. The conference will be an all-day conference on Tuesday, February 8th.

Details on the conference’s technical program will be updated on the website in the coming months as the ITE/IMSA planning committee is working hard to bring this popular conference back to an in-person event.

The event offers a comprehensive exhibition featuring the latest in traffic/ITS products, services and vendor workshops. As always, general registration to the technical events and exhibition will be free and parking will be free. There is a fee for lunch for those that choose to join us.

King County Department of Public Health COVID Guidance

As of October 25 in King County, proof of vaccination or negative test result is required for everyone ages 12+ at outdoor events of 500 or more people, indoor recreational events or establishments, restaurants, and bars. As of September 13 in Washington state, masks are required for everyone ages 5+ at outdoor events with 500 or more people, and continue to be required in public indoor spaces.

ITE Washington and IMSA are excited to announce our upcoming annual joint conference on February 8 and 9, 2021. This year the event will be online over two half-day afternoons on Monday and Tuesday, noon to 5:00 PM.

There will be 24 vendor sessions eligible for IMSA TARP points with the opportunity for local agency and transportation professionals to hear about new products and talk directly with vendors in small virtual “rooms.” You can visit the program here:

The ITE technical presentations include technical topics such as transportation trends related to the pandemic, social justice, climate change; congestion pricing and road user charges; curbside management and parking; rural ITS; and cyber-security.

The event will also include opportunities for networking.
